Oh Happy Day!

I love when the big brown UPS truck pulls up in the neighborhood. I'm always jealous when it stops across the street. Today was different...that big brown truck stopped at my house! I was a little confused when the guy in brown walked up to "my" door carrying a big box. "For me?" I said to him. He happily replied, "Yes, one package from Apple." "Apple? you must have the wrong house?!" Of course he double checked the address and name, and yep it was addressed to ME, myself, and I. I couldn't get in the door fast enough, I had to get that box open. This is what I found....It's like Christmas in August?! Apparently all my files that have quickly appeared on the husband's laptop was a hint, that I needed my own computer. I'm one happy girl, I can't wait to start exploring in the Mac world:)

ONE

We celebrated Owen's first birthday this past weekend. A year ago, this guy was just an itty bitty baby that slept all day, and loved to be held. Now he's a toddler that walks, and gets into things, and hates cake.We celebrated his birthday with a Carnival themed party, complete with a carousel ride with all his friends!It was a super hot August day, with 75% humidity, which didn't leave for very good conditions to have an outdoor party. But I'm getting over it, and realize that everything can't be perfect. I am blessed to have a perfect little boy though! Happy Birthday sweet boy!
