Seeing PINK

We've been busy changing that birthday girls room. She requested PINK, so we went with it, at first I wasn't digging all the pink, but it's starting to come together. Such a big girl room now!
She had to have the zebra chair, so with some of her birthday money that's what she picked out. It's a perfect reading chair, she says.

RoCk ON!

As many of you know I LOVE to plan a good party! I loose sleep over tiny, stupid details, spend hours upon hours planning so everything is perfect!
Someone in our house turned SIX, so that called for a Party, oh yes a Rockstar Party! Turning SIX is quite a big deal....

When your SIX you get to wear your mom's fancy diamond earings!

Have a red carpet rolled out for your very bestest friends ever!Throw a dance party like no other...complete with with funky glasses, boas, and mics! Rock-ON! Even Great-Grandmas are allowed to have a little fun!
Cuz- Girls just wanna have FUN!
Happy Birthday to my sweet Izzzzabel

Boys will be boys

Now that we've been having nicer weather, the snow is gone, gone, gone! Which means you find all sorts of stuff in your yard that once was under all that white stuff. Last weekend the kids were out riding there bikes. The neighbors were out cleaning up their yard, picking up the dog poop. Gavin right away went over and said, "Whatca doing", they kindly replied "well were cleaning up all of Bo's poop in the yard...wanna help?!" They were totally joking, but Gavin will take any opportunity to "Help" in any sort of way. He came running home asking for gloves, and I said, "for what, its too nice out for gloves." "I'm going to clean up poop." He really truly wanted to help, not sure if it was because there were gloves and shovels involved or what?

Today he went outside to play, he found himself a shovel and bucket, and gloves... And guess what he was playing? Yup I asked him, "whatca doing?" "I'm just picking up dog poop-ma!" Thank goodness he was just pretending with rocks, but really who needs Transformers, Lego's, and matchbox cars, when you can pick up poop!

**And NO this does not get us any closer to getting a four legged pet...ever!**

Little bit O'Green

We're seeing things GREEN today! Started off the morning with green shamrock pancakes, green grapes, and green milk! Tried to get them all three to take a picture together, and oh my what a mess. To get all three of them to look at the camera at the same time, is next to impossible let alone having them all smile too.So a collage of all them smiling and looking at the camera is the new route I'm taking...

Wishing you a Happy St. Patricks Day!

Fired!

She came home from school today and told me she was "The Mama" today! She wanted to be Owen's mama, and told me I was just the babysitter. "I'll feed him, dress him, play with him, and even change ONLY the wet diapers." Sure enough she spent the day carrying him around, playing with him and even fed him.... I think it's hilarious that her mouth is open too :) She did a good job taking care of him, and of course he loved every second. She never did get to the diapers though, perhaps tomorrow I'll work on that.

Best Buddies

These two little monkeys are having so much fun together. I wake up every morning to hear those two laughing and playing in their room. Gavin leans over to talk to Owen, and Owen just laughs at everything Gavin says and does. It's so sweet to hear. He thinks his big brother is the best! I can't wait to watch them grow up and teach each other things,
and become even better friends!

Owen 7 months old today!

Brothers by chance
Friends by choice!

Who knew...

That having just about 200 boxes of girl scout cookies at your house could be such entertainment? We spent the entire night unpacking box after box of these yummy treats! We sorted, counted, filled orders
and as Gavin put it made "tall cookie towers!"
They were thrilled to stay up late, and play cookie store. Not to mention great helpers! Had to close out our night with a little taste...mmmmmmmmmm!
