simply.delish.

I'm not one to have "cravings" while being pregnant, it's more like a phase. I've been on a ice cream kick, Dr. Pepper with ice kick, and even carrots and ranch. The latest kick is crepes! My sister introduced me way back upon her travels to Greece, and every once in awhile we will indulge. Perhaps it's the Nutella that gets me, or even those yummy strawberries. I'm blaming Rachel Ray for this latest phase. I read in her magazine that Target's Archer Farms makes a Vanilla Bean Crepe mix that's quite simply delish! Darn you Rachel and Bridget.

Busy, Busy!

Spring has arrived which means we are busy bees. Besides taking on a new hobby, we've been out enjoying the some what nice weather. Which equals dirty kids! Usually this guy doesn't make it to the dinner table without a bath first!Isabel is getting ready for her big dance recital coming up the end of May. She recently had dance pictures, here's a sneak peak of her ballet costume. So cute! They are dancing to

"This little light of mine" complete with candles and all.

She also recently informed me, that when she grows up she wants to be a photographer. This is new! All she wants to do is take pictures, always asking for my camera. I even caught her saying to one of the daycare kids...."I'll be right back with my camera, hold that smile!"

A new hobby

I have found a new hobby! Sewing it is! Where I have found time to take this on, I really have no idea?! I come across an idea, and I have to do it. I'm pretty sure it drives my mother crazy. She's been showing me the ropes, so I can whip out my own machine and give it a whirl. Here is the first of many more to come.

Happy Easter!

So happy to hear the birds chirping, see the bright sun, and put away the winter coat, all signs spring is really on it's way! We went for an Easter egg hunt last weekend, and got to meet the Easter bunny himself! It took Isabel 5 whole years to not be afraid of costume characters! The very first picture of her and the Easter Bunny! Of course little brother would NOT go near that guy.....maybe when he's 5!



We are heading to Chicago for Easter this year. Wishing you all a Happy Easter!!!

1917...

My Grandma Jeanie turned 92 this week! She is so bright and full of life...still at 92! I sure hope I got those genes!! She still enjoys a good game of scrabble, flowers, black licorice, and makes some killer banana bread!

The family gathered at her apartment to help her celebrate last weekend. I just love how she lights up when the great-grandkids are around.
