A SMILE from my happy little guy!

And some drool of course.

I think he likes my new lens, and that makes mama SO happy.

An afternoon at Grandmas

Nothing better than a lazy day to play in the leaves! One of my favorite childhood pastimes, was spending countless hours outside in the leaves, letting my imagination run wild! So fun to see my kids let their imaginations go, and create memories.....

It's over!

All the hoopla of making the perfect Halloween costumes, running around the world to make Halloween visits to special people, eating my weight in miniature chocolate bars, and now dealing with the kids sugar hangovers. This pretty much sums up how I feel today....So glad this holiday is over!

A new pet

Meet our new family pet....Black Beauty! A black stallion horse, that can give horse back rides, and eat grass right out our hands. Hours of entertainment right in our backyard. The best part, she's maintenance free! This of course will be the closest thing to a real pet this family ever gets. I look at it as a great way for their imgainations to go wild...

No Popper scooper, no litter box, no saddles, no hamster wheels, no dog leashes, no vet bills. This horse swing will do the job.

Now off to practice some rodeo skills....ride em' cowboys!

One lucky girl....

I sat on the computer with sweaty hands, anxiously waiting for the clock to read 10:00. Desperately trying to get tickets to see this girl....

As soon as the tickets went on sale I was ready as ever. Somehow, I managed to get 2 tickets, when they sold out in 2 minutes!!! Isabel was a little disappointed that her two aunties couldn't come, as 4 tickets weren't an option. She has NO idea how lucky we were to get the two we did get.

Well the big night was this past Sunday. Her very first concert! I was curious to see how she'd do. She surprised me to say the least. She came out of her shell, and stood on her chair the entire show, singing, and dancing to every song!! Needless to say she had a blast! She kept saying. "Mom, if Auntie were here, she would LOVE this" Our seats were pretty much at the ceiling of the arena, we could barely see the screens or stage, but I managed to get a few photos, and then did a little editing to them at home. Now all she's been doing is playing "concert!", come on over... if you can get a ticket :)
A fun girls night, for one lucky girl :)

So big!

It came to me this past weekend, that time goes too fast! Owen is approaching 2 months old already! I spent the weekend packing away his 0-3 clothes and brought out all the fall 3-6 month stuff. He is changing by the day, and is full of smiles! Unfortunately he hates my camera, I'll get him to smile, then as soon as he sees the camera he stops. He better learn to like that thing real soon!!!Big brother on the other hand, suddenly looks like a five year old! I took him out to the railroad tracks for a quick, and I mean quick photo shoot. It was a yummy Autumn sunset, and we only had so much time to work with. He fell asleep on the way there, and wasted about 15 minutes of that sunlight throwing a major fit. You would've never guessed by the pictures, 5 minutes prior he was rolling on the ground screaming. Good thing he LOVES the camera :)
