Tea for Two

A few weeks ago I did a photo shoot for these two little girls. They share the same birthday month, so I had them celebrate with a tea party!

What a fun day!

We enjoyed a beautiful fall Sunday out making memories! We started out with a visit to my Aunt & Uncles hobby farm, they happen to have four horses!Isabel was quick to jump right on for her ride, she even did some barrels...she's very proud :)Even Owen got a ride!Gavin preferred the stationary version of horse back riding, and tractor rides of course!

Thanks Pat and Scott for a great field trip to the country!!Then we headed over to an apple orchard that was having a hot air balloon festival.

We toured the orchard, then sat and watched the balloons get ready for take off. And away they went! Such a fun day, we had a blast!

FoUr

We celebrated Gavin's birthday with a firefighter theme last weekend. Complete with a real firefighter who brought his fire truck and gave us all rides on it!

Happy Birthday Buddy- sure hope you had fun turning FoUr!!!

I know I have zero Ace of Cake skills, it just looked so easy to make online. Last homemade cake I ever make!

Bittersweet

We spent the last month or so enjoying every last second of summer. Several trips to the cabin for one last dip in the lake, visits with family and friends from both near and far, bike rides, ice cream treats, and enjoying the warm weather!

Last week was a little shock to the system when the alarm clocks started ringing again, and school lunches had to be packed. I must say it took a little getting used to, but man I forgot how much I love routine!

It makes me happy that all three kids are tucked in bed off in dreamland by 7:16pm every night.
