Water logged!

We had a blast on a recent trip to the Dells, fun in the water was had by everyone!

Isabel waiting for a wave to come crashing in. One of her favorites was the wave pool.

She kept saying, "I wish Grammie's pool was a wave pool."

Gavin had a blast on the kiddie water slides, especially this super fast yellow one!

On my honor

Seems like yesterday I proudly put on my green sash, and walked door to door to sell cookies. Trying so hard to earn that cookie badge if I sold 150 boxes of cookies. I must have been determined, as I really did get the "cookie" badge.

I remember troop 1286 getting a reward for being the top cookie sellers, and getting that badge at the award ceremony was such an honor!

and now I have a daughter old enough to sell cookies?!? Only now days you get the "cookie" badge if you participate, and sell at least 5 boxes. Five boxes really....

Regardless, she loves hearing stories about what my troop did, and how we earned the badges. And of course a daily reminder, "Mom can we go sell cookies now?"

5 months!

Owen turned 5 months old this week, and he's ready to dig in! That is to solid foods, the doctor has ordered for this little man to fatten up.... I could almost here him pounding on the tray with his spoon,

"Where's my food, Where's my food" All ready to try some squash! And he like it, or should I say LOVED it!

This happy little man, has been busy playing with his new

jumperoo, jumping like crazy.

But his all time favorite thing to do is eat his toes, silly boy :)

Cabin fever!?!?!

Winter has arrived in full force! Days of artic air, tempatures that don't even make it to -10, and a fresh blanket of untouched snow?! uGH! Which means we need to step outside the box a little. Yes it was just Christmas and the kids got loads of new toys, but being stuck inside the house for days leads to this....

and of course hours, and hours, of farm, and tractor play.
